Why I built BioStack (a review from the creator)
Let me be completely straight with you before anything else: BioStack is my product. I’m not an affiliate reviewing someone else’s launch this time — I designed this tool, and this page is me telling you exactly what it does and who it’s for. If that changes how you weigh my opinion, good — that’s what disclosure is for. What I’d ask you to weigh alongside it: nobody knows a product’s real strengths and real limits better than the person who built it, and I’m going to give you both.
The itch I built it to scratch
I kept watching the same pattern with creators and small businesses: the single most valuable link they own — the bio link every post, video and profile funnels into — was rented. Five dollars a month becomes nine becomes twenty-four, the features that actually make money (selling a product, capturing an email) sit behind the higher tiers, and the subscription company’s logo rides at the bottom of a page built on YOUR audience. Do the math over three years and a “cheap” bio tool costs more than $300 — for buttons.
The economics only made sense in one direction: a tool you buy once, that includes the money features on day one, and that lets you export and own every page you build. That’s BioStack: $27, one time.
What it actually does
Six content types on one hosted, drag-and-drop page. Gradient link buttons with custom emoji icons. YouTube videos that play in-page (no click-away). A mini storefront with product cards and Buy buttons that link to any checkout you already use — Gumroad, Stripe, PayPal, whatever. Email opt-in forms that connect to Mailchimp, ConvertKit, AWeber, GetResponse and more. A swipeable image gallery and a private contact form. Four themes on the personal licence, live phone preview while you build, auto-save, and one-click HTML export so the finished page is a file you own and can host anywhere on Earth — Netlify hosts it free in under a minute.
The Bundle math (do this before you decide)
The Bundle at $237, or $187 with coupon BIOSTACK, is the sensible path if you know you want the whole toolkit. It stacks BioStack PRO (all 7 themes, custom brand colours, white-label export, click analytics, link scheduling) with the Agency Licence (unlimited paying clients, complete Client Kit) and the Templates Pack (10 done-for-you niche templates — Creator, Influencer, Coach, Seller, Photographer, Musician, Restaurant, Wellness, Gamer, Freelancer). If you’re a freelancer who’ll charge local businesses $200–$500 to build these pages — which is a genuine service almost nobody sells today — the Agency Licence pays for the whole Bundle from your first client. The coupon disappears when the cart closes, so if the Bundle is the right fit, launch week is the cheapest it will ever be. If you just want the tool for yourself, the $27 Personal licence is entirely usable on its own — that’s why it’s the front end.
What it doesn’t do (yes, really)
Honesty cuts both ways when it’s your own product, so here are the real limits. Publishing takes one extra step — you export the page and drop it into free hosting rather than getting an instant hosted URL. The trade-off is that this is exactly why you own your pages outright, but if you want zero-step publishing, that’s a difference from the subscription tools. Click analytics and link scheduling live in the PRO upgrade, not the $27 Personal licence — same for custom brand colours and the white-label (no-BioStack-branding) export. And the Personal licence includes 4 of the 7 themes. If any of those three is a dealbreaker at $27, the Bundle covers all of them — or a subscription tool might genuinely suit you better, and I’d rather tell you that than have you refund.
Who it’s for
If you have an audience anywhere — YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, a podcast, a music profile — and your bio currently points to a wall of plain grey buttons (or worse, someone else’s branded page), this replaces it in an afternoon for the cost of a pizza. The people who get the most out of it: creators who sell anything (the product cards alone are tier-gated at $24/month elsewhere), anyone building an email list (the opt-in form + your autoresponder = an audience nobody can suspend), and freelancers who want a portfolio-plus-contact-form page without a web designer.
If you’re an agency or you build pages for clients, the Bundle’s Agency Licence is the sleeper deal — unlimited client pages, charge what you like, keep all of it, with the client paperwork included.
The math, one more time
A typical bio-link subscription: $108+ per year, forever. BioStack Personal: $27 once — with the storefront, the opt-in forms, the four themes, and the export that the subscriptions charge extra for. BioStack Bundle: $187 (with coupon) once — everything, plus the ability to sell this as a service. Even if you only used the Personal licence one year, you’re ahead. There’s a 30-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee on every product in the funnel, so the only genuinely risky option on the table is another year of paying rent on the most valuable link you own.
Launch note: the $27 Personal price and the BIOSTACK coupon on the Bundle exist for launch week only — both disappear when the cart closes Tuesday, August 11.
